Congratulations to AMA Ferris' November Member of the Month, Jakob Loutzenhiser! Jakob is a junior majoring in Construction Management. Two of Jakob's roommates, who are both on the AMA executive board, highly encouraged him to join AMA at the beginning of the semester and become involved. After attending the first few meetings to see what AMA was about, Jakob was hooked and has loved every minute since!
Jakob has become very involved within AMA, participating in numerous chapter activities/workshops and becoming a pivotal member of the group working on the annual AMA Case Competition. His favorite part of AMA has been the Case Competition because "it's an aspect of a club that has really changed me and allowed me to grow and learn throughout the competition."
Outside of AMA, Jakob is a member of His House Christian Fellowship, a campus ministry, the Associated Construction Students RSO, and helps with the Associated Schools of Construction district four competition!
Jakob 100% recommends to anyone outside or part of the College of Business to join AMA because of the "amazing people you will meet and the learning opportunities you will get in this organization."
